Does that dude get tax exempt status? Is the government subsidizing his jet?

If I was going to be crooked and "steal" other people's money, I'd spend it on something better that a $60 million private jet. Just fly first class everywhere, and still have nearly all of that $60 million to spend on something else.

Or buy a $5 million plane that can be everything for you that the $60 million plane could be.

Why does anyone follow these people?

But.....

He already owns a few million dollar homes, Bentley's, sports cars, etc.

The only thing left is a jet!

Can't you buy a fighter jet for that kinda dough?

I thought your typical private jet was like $5 to $10 million?

Televangelism can be a form of elder abuse:

https://trinityfi.org/investigations...orruption.html

We found these TV and radio evangelists are vying for a donor pool of about five million people. Fifty-five percent of these people are elderly women. Another 35 percent is made up of what we call the desperation pool. These are the poorest and neediest members of society.

Looks like I was off.

The brand new F-35A's are going for about $85MM, coming to a showroom near you in 2018.

Yikes, and F-22 is $185MM.

For those of us not quite in the luxury fighter jet market, a CF-18 will go for about $35MM. It appears this televangelist could afford a nice CF-18 for his daily commute to swindle people.

(These figures courtesy of Wikipedia, so take it for what it's worth)

The Vector is hard at work in the Creflo household delivering the virus to a church near you.

Born Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr. has an estimated net worth of $27 million. Creflo is the founder of World Changers Church International, a non- denominational church based in Fulton County, Georgia. Along with his work as a televangelist, Creflo and his wife, Taffi Dollar oversees their enterprises including: Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (formerly called International Covenant Ministries), Creflo Dollar Ministries, and Arrow Records. Creflo Dollar began his ministry work in 1986 at the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School in College Park, Georgia.

His wife...Taffi(Should say "small change" brings results)

Spent a year at Prairie Bible Institute, still wish I found answers.. but none were present. Why do humans want 'truth' so bad we're willing to ignore reality? What is wrong with us?

Has nothing to do with "truth" or none of these guys would exist.

Well I've been going to church over the last few months to appease my mother. It's not too bad, but I pretty much just daydream and look off into the distance during it. I do get annoyed by stuff, like one time my mom and I where talking to the pastor, and of course, she had to bring up my lack of faith to him. Ugh. It pretty much feels like a chore to go there every week.

For many it's about finding a purpose and meaning as to why we are here and where we might go when we die. It requires a certain amount of faith in what we hope for or evidence of things we cannot see. In the end it often overides ones sense of reality and in extreme cases we see cases like Creflo Dollar being able to con his members into donating thier money to his cause.

Yes. Faith is the key. It's how this all works. Reality is hard, latching on to a false promise of life after death is appealing. It's so appealing that people can be made to think things and do things that are crazy in hope of achieving this life after death.
