I can't even imagine how much it hurts oiler fans to see what the flames have become and how bright their future looks. Years of suffering for the oilers with absolutely zero progress to show for it while the flames are preparing for the playoffs in year 2 of the rebuild.

So be it. As long as the effort of this team is there, they can go 12-0 for the rest of the year. If this team somehow falters and goes 0-12, I'll still respect the effort they've put forth this season. They've defied all the odds and proved almost all of their critics wrong.
This team is a positive story and we're lucky to be fans of them. I don't know if I've ever been more proud to be a Flames fan. What an amazing Team.
