They're both good, voted rotation. No clear #1.
Hiller is bad for the first 5 shots of the game, Ramo is streaky. As a tandem they are great.

Remember the '96 playoffs when the Flames played both Rick Tabaracci and Trevor Kidd!

I don't know why fans keep debating who's number one. Hartley has stated publicly that it's a 1A, 1B situation and he is going to keep doing what he's been doing all year: rotate them

If rotation wasn't there as a choice i would go Hiller.
Slightly better than Ramo.
Hiller has played more games and has more wins.
Hiller has carried aprox 30% more the workload but i still prefer the rotation system that Hartley has employed. Both of them will not have been overworked for the playoffs.

1A and 1B in a rotation for me. I do think Hiller would be the starter for game 1 of a playoff series, in a vacuum. (Which makes him 1A, I suppose).

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

It's Hillers net but Hartley will go with the guy who he feels will give the best chance to win. Sometimes that is Ramo or Ortio.

Hartley has done a great job of managing the goalies this year.

There is no #1 or #2 goalie on this team. I think if you put either of these guys on another team (Edmonton, Buffalo, Arizona, and a couple others excluded) they end up being clear cut backups. Harley has done an incredible job of getting really great hot streaks out of each guy and riding those until they fizzle out a bit. When they do fizzle, it seems the other guy is ready to step in and go on a streak of his own.

tl;dr - rotation

Clearly a rotation this season but in the end I voted Hiller. I think he is the one they go with next season with Orts backing him up or at the very least going 60/40.
