Which teams won't make the playoffs in the end?
Pick TWO teams.
Out of these 6 teams fighting for the final 4 playoff seeds in the western conference, which two will be the odd ones out?
I believe its going to be the sharks and the jets. The sharks seem to have the toughest schedule down the stretch due to their number of eastern road games, and the jets have a number of injuries and unreliable goaltending.

San Jose is just so broken down and out of it, they hardly deserve to be on the list.

Going with LA and SJ. Honestly, the only real argument for LA making it is 'they've done it before' but they haven't shown any real stretch of being a playoff team this year. SJ has a tough schedule ahead, and thoroughly enjoys letting their fanbase down.
Vancouver looks pretty set
Calgary has that no-quit that shows they won't go down easy
Winnipeg has played well most of the year
Minnesota definitely has a roster that SHOULD be playing in April

San Jose has no blueline. They make us without Giordano look like Nashville, NYR and St. Louis.
I'm impressed they held on this long but they're done.
Winnipeg is going to need Hutchinson to find his .930 form from the start of the season, otherwise they're
done too.

Only voted Wpg by accident, would have voted SJ too.
Moneyhands can eat my pubes if Wpg & SJ both make it.

I voted San Jose. I think they're out of it and it's still up in the air between the Jets, Flames and Kings.

San Jose for sure. Will go winterpeg for the 2nd team. Think it's between Winnipeg and Calgary.

The Sharks are dead and pretty much a lock to miss the postseason IMO
Voted Winnipeg as the second team to miss out. The Wild have a stacked roster and they have been fantastic since adding Dubnyk, so I'm certain they are in. Vancouver gets in IMO as well, they have played pretty well all season and I doubt they'll collapse at this point of the season. The Flames have proved time and time again that they are not going anywhere despite being written off various times - even if I wasn't a diehard Flames fan, by now I'd expect them to get in.
Which leaves Los Angeles and Winnipeg. It ultimately comes down to how the Kings are doing in their mini-series vs Vancouver, but I expect them to make a final push and overtake the Jets.

Minny looks like a lock for the first wild card and the Sharks look like a lock to miss the playoffs.
My other vote was for the Jets since they can only make the playoffs by the wild card while Calgary, LA, and Vancouver can make it by the division spots or the wild card.

SJ for sure is missing in my opinion.
Winnipeg is the other man out, most likely. Though I wouldn't be surprised if LA misses instead.
