Reading the preview, it says the Canucks have given up the first goal in 17 of their last 21 games. How is that team in the playoffs?

Go Pittsburgh. Go Crosby. Can put another nail in the Sharks' coffin.

If the Sharks lose tonight I think it's pretty much over for them.

Evgeny Romasko becomes the first Russian to referee an NHL game,

Looks like his first call was on Zidlicky

Ha ha. Too funny. Kevin Quinn ask his color guy if he sees any similarities between Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Pavel Datsyuk. After a few seconds of stunned silence he replies " uh they both wear a number that has a three in it".

awkward moment during the Oilers broadcast.

"know any similarities between datsyuk and nudgent-hopkins"

Pang - " uh ... they both have a 3"

Quinn - "oh.. okay ... just wondering"

Losing Petry has made the Oilers blueline visually worse, I almost believe I'm NHL caliber watching Oesterle and Hamilton play

I think the colour guy is Drew Remenda isn't it?

Yes it is. He clearly isn't quite as much an Oiler fan-boy as Kevin Quinn is.

Alright Ducks, drop a train on them Canucks!

Sid just do your thing and the Sharks will roll over and die.

In fairness, while you might be able to crack the Oilers lineup I would hardly call that nhl caliber.

Only Subban played more minutes than Petry in Habs 2-0 win Saturday.
Another big lottery winner in Edmonton

I heard the commentary comparing an Oilers player to Drew Doughty. Did anyone catch who they were talking about?

Teddy Purcell I thought (though Enoch heard Shultz which makes more sense), the reasoning was because he was playing soooo many minutes (was on the ice for over 8m in the first period)

Edit: Was definitely Teddy Purcell, the convo takes place just before Detroit scores

To be honest, I didn't hear who, I just heard Doughty and the minutes. I just assumed Schultz because he leads them in minutes.

But it's the Oiler broadcast, so anything is possible - even comparing Purcell to Doughty

Oesterle not following his man, Sheahan with an easy goal makes it 2-1 Detroit
