Random Log Out

So I'll be surfing CP, clicking page to page on a long thread, and suddenly I'll be logged out. My computer, perhaps?
Does this happen to anyone else?
Not a big deal, just that I have my settings at 50 posts per page, and the board settings are at 20 or 30. So when I get logged out, I have to screw around a couple of minutes to find the last post I read.

yah, this happens to me as well.

it happens primarily using firefox, safari on the mac, and ie7. i can't remember it happening on ie6 at all actually.

i just hate to do a reply and go to post and discover that i have been logged out at some point when i was creating the posting.

That's weird, I haven't seen anything like that. The only thing I could suggest is clearing your cookies?

Si. Only on Firefox, now that I think about it.

I will try clearing cookies.

Waitaminute.... IF I clear coookies, will I lose all the thread history for this site? (y'know, the feature that saves what I've read and how far into each thread?)

Ok... Cleared everything, and still getting the random log out. Any other suggestions?
