If we can get a similar return for Glencross I'd definitely be happy.

Is Pittsburgh going to have any picks left?

So do we cross Pittsburgh off as a possible landing place for Glencross?

Haven't we always after friedman said pittsburgh had contacted Calgary but weren't on Glencross' list?

I'd say it's much less likely now, but I wouldn't necessarily cross them off for sure. Who knows what they're planning.

Pretty amazing the difference in returns between the Winnik and the Tlusty trades.

Carolina just gave Tlusty away IMO, but now the return for Winnik is pretty good.

Hopefully this gets some other eastern teams motivated

I still think glencross's value shoukd be closer to perron than winnik. But i realize that glencross is a rental and older so we shall see. Hopefully winnik and tlusty off the market drives up the price o glencriss a bit

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Next to Pitt, Wpg and NYR were most interested in Winnik. Both told Toronto they were out last night. Mtl also had some interest.

I guess it is a good sign for us that Winnik is getting the similar return as Vanek was last year.

Perron is 26 and had 28 goals and 57pts last year though. He was also still under contract as well. I don't think Glencross is even close but if we can land a 2nd I think we made off better than the Oilers did all things considered.
