Think I read that Roger Millions said he expanded list to 5-7 teams.

Yes but I was just listing the teams that have been reported by name.

I hope the isles are on the expanded list... I really hope he expands that list, teams aren't going to pay if they know he'll only go to their team.

If it is 5 teams and Pitt is not on list, what other 3 teams does CP think are on Glencross list?
I'm going to say LA, Tampa, and Islanders. Actually don't think islanders are on his list but they got a great D prospect list to chose from.

Hopefully Nashville. Offer to take Stalbergs contract in any Glencross deal and hopefully get a better return.

IF Anaheim and Chicago are on, but not Pittsburgh, I would guess his list is mostly west. So teams like St. Louis and Nashville, maybe LA.

Next week, the team leaves on a road trip that will take them through the deadline. If Curtis Glencross dresses tonight, it will presumably be the last time he dresses as a Flame in the Saddledome. However you feel about Glencross this week, he has been a warrior on this team through some challenging years. He may not have had the impact of someone like Jarome Iginla, but I hope we have the grace to give him a standing ovation tonight. The dude earned every cent of his contract. But more than that—and despite comments made earlier in this thread that players don’t care what fans say—players around the league note these gestures. More importantly, those in the Calgary dressing room note these kinds of gestures. When it’s time to re-sign free argents or time to go after free agents in the off season, it’s these little intangible elements that give you an edge over markets like Vancouver and Toronto. Hockey players want to play for good fans.

I am guessing his list is Anaheim, LA, Nashville, TB, and Montreal.

I agree with this. The best thing the fans can do to keep as good a light on Calgary as a possible free agent destination.

My prediction tonight.. Curtis Glencross will play his best game of the season tonight. Bar none. #Flames
I disagree with Roger - I think he comes out fired up but still doesn't produce anything with his limited minutes.

Good, he is still part of the team until he is traded.
I just hope this gets him going, maybe this stuff will get him skating harder.

The only way you scratch him is if something is imminent. If there is a still a chance that he isn't traded right away, then you dress him.

I see mostly West teams as well. Anaheim, Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville. I don't know if LA would be on his list considering they are in a dog fight to make the playoffs with couple of other teams and Glencross has indicated he wants a chance to win the cup. If there are teams from the East it could be Tampa, Rangers, Islanders and Detroit.
Also, his wife is due in April so I think he does stay out West somewhere.
Wonder is Anaheim would part with Shea Theodore in some sort of package for Glencross.

The player is getting traded. You think you would just sit him out to avoid injury.

I wish but I am thinking we would have to add a Baertschi to make that happen and I don't think the Flames should give up on him yet. I still think he develops into a top 6 forward.
