So happy to see Wolf back. Although it also kind of sucks because Granlund and Baertschi started to show a little somethin' somethin' the last couple of games.
Arnold should be back soon though. He's practicing with the team now so hopefully him, Baertschi and Poirier will be put back together and go on another tear.

The Baby Flames seem to struggle against one team, I think it is Utica (the Nucks AHL team?), with the Flames moving out West next year will we continue to play them so many times??

Late January and February were quiet to make up for their December and March schedule. It's about to get really busy again once we get into March.

No. The Comets will still be in Utica in a different division and it's reported the new West division will travel less and play each other more. We should probably drop to 2-4 games against them instead of 12.

The Canucks are staying Utica for the time being and moving into the Eastern conference next season.
The initial reports for the AHL Pacific division is that they will be exclusively playing against each other for most of the season.
This pretty much ends my tenuous support of the enforcer role. Yakimov intentionally runs right through our goalie and barely (if at all) has to answer for it, just pathetic

And one of the lines in the game was: Wolf-Tousignant-McGrattan

Even worse is that we iced a line of Wolf-Tousignant-McGrattan. All very large and tough guys. They could have bounced him around the ice like a pinball, very cleanly and penalty free, and it didn't happen either.
I would have to imagine there will be an answer to this tonight though. No way the Flames take this lightly.
