Nice game from Elias and Filppula in particular to get the two points against the Islanders. We continue our swing through the east with a game against the Flyers in a couple days. Things are coming along for the Preds with what should mark the return of Sekera on the blueline and maybe Arcobello as well.

The Pens have a bad habit of playing down to the level of inferior opponents. Luckily for us we still managed to squeak out the win cause Quick was sharp. Iggy tried to weasel his way off the block by scoring the winner in the 3rd.

Do I think that the Stars will get swept in the first round, despite their incredible regular season?

One word.

I do.

I'm trying to set the stage for the biggest upset in CPHL history. Who is going to be the lucky team to steamroll me in 4?

It seems that getting rid of the dirt bag Salo ended up turning my team around.

Jackets lose a tight game vs the 1st place team. Quick was better than Rask which was the difference. The series between the Penguins and Jackets is now 1-1.

I gave Dubnyk his second straight after his win against the Pens. 46 saves in this loss, and still making it tough for me to decide who to keep.
