So Jones gets hurt, and subs in Smalling whom scores off of the immediate preceding corner.

The only question I have is, did Smalling score right off the corner? cuz I can't think of anyone else capable of taking it.

RVP flicked at the near post, Falcao put it back in the middle from the back post, Smalling won the third header.

And Burnley draws even.

Oh sorry I meant RVP won the first header. I think Rooney took the corner but I'm not 100% on that.

No assistant manager either so now the Premier league has 2 manager-less teams right now in QPR and Villa.

But Rooney isn't a stifling wingback either.. So I don't believe you there either

Mark Ogden ‏@MOgdenTelegraph
#mufc being overrun in midfield, but then Blind is their only midfielder...

Its like LvG is just making it up as he goes along.

His most crucial piece of team selection equipment seems to be a Yahtzee cup.

We're being dominated at home against the 19th place team.

I'm looking forward to his post game report.

lol yeah. It's unbelievably frustrating and it's crazy how United fans have become so cynical in short time. I'm sure that when Jones went down injured earlier, most fans just thought "oh no, who's going to take our corners now?"

A good friend of mine is a huge United fan too and we have traveled to OT together a couple of times. When Reus signed a new contract with Dortmund yesterday, he texted me "crap, there goes our #1 center back target". That's a perfect example of how we fans feel right now about van Gaal and his lineup antics.

Not all doom and gloom yet, you pulled out the draw before.

If you lose or draw though his post-game presser is going to be spectacular. How much you want to bet it involves a clipboard and the press-agent lady will decline to attend this time....

ha Herrera is coming on. You just know that he's going to have a great game, only to be back on the bench at the weekend.

Huge cheer for Herrera when he comes on. Pretty clear the fans want him on.

Looks like Rooney is playing deeper now.

Pretty terrible half of football for United but they go in to halftime with the lead anyway.

Burnley had 10 attempts on goal in that first half, compared to Burnley's three. The scoreline doesn't reflect it though
