Satisfying win. Great games by Hiller, Diaz, Johnny, Hudler....pretty much everyone. Stellar 3rd period by the team. 10 of the next 12 at home. 3 pts up on LA. Temporarily tied with Vancouver. Go Ducks Go!

Great third period after being relatively flat for the first half of the game. Go Flames!

Important homestand win. Wild are slumping lately, only beating the McEichel contenders, and then the Oilers on Sat.

There were some issues during this game that I thought were getting highlighted VS a very bad team, but I can't complain about a W like that. Hiller was huge, Jooris reminding us he's awesome, Colborne looked okay (can't hate on a goal and assist from a hometown guy, even though I didn't think it was his best game), Gio picked up another point, Brodie continues to invite Scott Neidermeyer comparisions, Diaz got sick of the Engelland show and decided to meet up with TJ and revive our PP with a huge assist IMO, Hudler was pretty solid, I didn't really notice Russell out there but that's not necessarily a bad thing, Jones played perhaps his best game as a Flame, Backlund is amazing, Monahan missed two wide open nets but continues to be great anyways, Johnny Gaudreau continues to be the best rookie in NHL, none of any of that really matters because the competition is worse than the oilers, and was that not the longest run-on sentence ever?

I don't think Engelland and Bollig really did anything to keep Wotherspoon and Wolf out of the next game. I'd prefer Sven in over Raymond but I think Mason did earn the next start, even though I don't get why Hartley thinks he's a PP specialist.

Edmonton ####ing the bed as per usual. Oh well, we'll have to take care of Minnesota ourselves.

Woah Monahan has something in his rear-view mirror

Wes Gilbertson @SUNGilbertson
#Flames C Josh Jooris now leads team with four game-winning goals. Impressive stuff.

I think putting Backlund with Raymond helps Raymond play to his strengths.

Great win

I posed this question in the GT but I'll do it here too. Do any of the call-ups get into the next game? I'd say no, don't think anyone played bad enough to sit. Maybe Spoon for Engelland

Monahan is the next Jonathan Toews
Gaudreau is the next Wayne Gretzky except smaller and better
Josh Jooris is the next Marty Gelinas
