If the Flames are willing to burn $21M over the next 3 years and assign this guy to Europe with no development plans than I would do Semin + a 1st for something like Byron, in a heartbeat.
But I don't really want to see this guy on the flames, I don't want to see him near the farm players, and I don't want to see his cap hit dragging on past 3 years when Monahan, Brodie, Gaudreau & Bennett could start to get really expensive.
Not sure the Canes would be willing to pay that much to solve their problem.
