The television ratings for this season are finally posted. They took a while as I have been busy and also doing the daily OOT thread. The biggest changes are the Numeris links (formerly called BBM) and multiple national channels for the Saturday games. I was also busy changing the old BBM links in the past years rating threads to the numeris links because the BBM links do not work anymore.

Here are the October ratings, Tsawwassen will post the November ratings a bit later.

The Habs get the biggest audiences too when the TVA numbers are added. The numbers back in 2002 were lower because the rating system was calculated differently.

What are your thoughts on the Flames numbers this season? Some of the ratings seem very very low for a hockey market like Southern Alberta??

The team has been playing really exciting hockey and stay really competitive all season so I would have hoped for some higher numbers. The Dome isn't nearly as full as previous years but I still suspect fans are tuning into the tv to watch???

Also do you have any idea how much Rogers Sportnet might have paid for the regional tv rights a few years back? I always find this stuff super interesting and you seem to be #1 in posting this information handy.
