Based on Hartley's reaction when asked, he kinda seemed to want to slot Wotherspoon in, but felt obligated to reward Diaz for his work ethic and professionalism in practice.

Jooris has actually looked pretty good for his first game back. I think he brings more to the table than Granlund does at this point.

It is so frustrating watching two completely different teams. The Flames are great when the top 4 D are on. They are terrible when Diaz and Engelland are on.

Flames have played well for sure. Anaheim is a top team in the west and they've been outplayed.

When you're on the ice with Johnny you have to be ready at all times. He thinks the game so quickly he catches his line mates off guard with passes.

Yup. The roof would come down just as Johnny gets on breakaway for the go ahead goal.
We're climbing a steep slope in this building every game, no matter the teams/players/goalies on either side. You can only sit and laugh at this point.

Exactly. I won't sweat this one because they looked like the better team most of the night and it's more of a symbolic win for this team at this point. It matters more what we do against the teams near us in the standings from here on out.
