Nothing out there compares quality wise to what we have here. An excellent variety of opinions and topics as well a great moderation team that keeps this forum going in the right direction.

I always creep the other team's GT on HF. Interesting to see exactly what they get frustrated over.

I used to participate on Hockey Trade Rumours but once you get used to a well run forum such as this one, its difficult to put up with every thread being hijacked to everything Leafs and the general low quality of input by the followers.

Jets hf board. Honestly nothing compares to CP. Love the discussions here.

I sometimes end up on the HF board because when I'm googling for some info, the topic is often mentioned there. I signed up there just as it makes it easier to navigate but there is so much garbage that I don't often go there.
I also signed up to this Canucks board but I think this is the second time I've actually checked it out.
Here's a thread about Shinkaruk where some are already calling him a disappointment. http://forum.canucks.com/topic/36652...ter-shinkaruk/

There's a rumor that even Vogons themselves won't read posts from that forum to their prisoners, and that's really saying something.

I love reading the reactions on the Kings HF Boards after we beat them.
I understand they are having an off season so far, but they are the whiniest forum members I have come ever seen.
2 cups in 3 seasons = quit your bitchin'

most of my time is spent here, but I'll go to habsrus on occasion. They've got some solid posters.

Went to HF Kings after last game. Just hilarious, the hate is strong for Gaudreau already haha.
Main HF boards I just get angry reading. Might try out that reddit hockey though. The up system works pretty well.

Noticed this too.. especially in the "Johnny Hockey Trademark" thread.
Lots of people bashing Johnny for being a cocky little #### without taking any time to read the details as to why Johnny and his agent felt it necessary to apply for the trademark.

reddit.com/r/hockey is my #2 behind CP. Best place to see individual play highlights on the web IMO. Our own AC is quite popular there for his gif-making skills

That's probably my favorite subreddit on the site, particularly because the community really doesn't take it self too seriously. It's probably the most self-deprecating sports forum I've ever seen. The voting system really helps keep the stupid squabbling hidden while highlighting the quality posts

I frequent realgm forums for NBA discussion. They do have a NHL forum but it is not a large community
