How many times have kids fresh from the farm gone straight into the next game this season? Seems like Bob likes them to watch one from the pressbox before they play. This is standard practice this season. No need for melodrama.

Yea, but there's only one more game before the All Star break so it's not like he'll sit, then get into a game two days later. If he's not gonna play, they should have just called up Potter to sit in there instead.

Unless I missed a tweet somewhere, Diaz going in doesn't mean that Wotherspoon won't be. It could be Diaz for Engelland and Spoon for Smid.
