I think Gaudreau is behind Colborne there. All you see is the corner of his helmet. It's like playing Where's Waldo at the Staples Center. Either that or else it's the beers.
The Ducks fans in there are priceless. They won't be so happy when we play them on Wednesday though.

On whether the Kings couldn’t beat a hot goalie, or whether “shot selection” was an issue:
No, I think there were probably guys who would take a different look at it once they watch it, but you know what? Their goalie comes in really hot. He’s on a roll, and I thought both goalies were outstanding tonight.
On the 12 overtime and shootout losses:
Generally it’s not that lopsided, generally.
On Nick Shore’s performance:
He made some good plays with the puck. There’s still some reading, and it’s a different level for him.
On the chemistry generated by the King-Shore-Carter line:
Yeah, I thought at even strength they were. I think that, you know what, they didn’t play that much as a line, the way probably the first two periods were with penalties. So I don’t think five-on-five, if you looked at it, they’re probably not going to play more than eight shifts or 10 shifts together.
On the penalty kill:
I think the penalty kill, we needed to kill a double-minor with Doughty sitting over in the penalty box, and we kill a penalty – Stolly’s over the glass penalty late in the game – it’s what got us a point.
On the team’s emotional state despite the tough losses:
You’ve got to always bounce back. Keep bouncing back. [Reporter: Park and ride.] Right, that’s what you do. If we weren’t strong like that, then we wouldn’t have bounced back tonight. I mean, that’s a big point at the end of the day. That’s how you’ve got to look at it.

The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
If Ortio can break the Honda Center curse, you sign him to a ten year extension to make sure it doesn't happen again in the next decade.
If he does break the Honda Centre curse, Hartley should just play him all the way to the end of the season and the playoff. Seriously though, I am loving the confidence on Joni Ortio. Those glove saves are incredible and he seems unfazed with what is going on in front of him. He rarely gets out of position. I love it!! Ortio is giving Hartley lots of reason to keep playing him and keep him in the NHL. I got the feeling that Ramo might be over 90% healthy now but Flames management is not in a rush to activate him until he is 100% healthy or until Ortio lose badly. Hopefully Jonas Hiller is paying attention really well or maybe he is wondering what the heck is going on. He is feeling deja vu. He lost his starting position to a couple of rookie goaltenders and now another rookie is making him sit on the bench 4 games now or maybe 5 in a row next game.
What a physical game!! Where are those posters that keeps saying Flames are too small and won't be able to survive against big boys from San Jose, LA and Anaheim. Monahan is getting hot now and Backlund is getting better and better as season goes. We just need to get Mason Raymond and David Jones to start producing and we are good.

I just realized I can view them if I click the link, but they don't embed.
Yeah that's why I include the link to the clip as well as embed them now.
Other than that, nothing I can do unfortunately as far as I know.
WebM files are too great to work with. They're super high quality, tiny file size, and I can: capture the highlight, edit it, export it, convert it, and upload it literally within 5 minutes of it happening live.

If only replay was that good in the spring of '04.
PP looked great early in the game, just didn't get the bounces.
LA had a vary effective PK right at the end, but that's a Sutter team.
Regehr might have had his best game in years, seemed like he was trying to answer the question, which former flames do you wish was still here. I would really love to replace either of our bottom pairing guys with the Reggie I saw tonight, I dare to say I wouldn't even mind trading Byron and Sieloff for him if that was the guy we were getting every night.

Forget all the analysis on this one. For me, tonight was just fun. It finally felt like it was a game that mattered. And it felt like games that you see played in May.
