could very well be Shore too... depending on how Granlund looks for the rest of the game

I predict both Ortio and Shore (Thought it was 1 gp and he was waiver fodder but I guess I was wrong) get sent down for the All Star break. It makes the most sense although I will say it kind of blows to reward Ortio with a send down if he goes 4-0 or even 3-1.

Yes and no.

He loses NHL pay, but he does get to attend the AHL All Star game and all that surrounds it.

even if sent down, I think it forces Treliving to make a move with one of the other G's, which in turn will open a permanent spot for Ortio on the big club soon enough.
