Default Chrome 39 annoying new people feature

So in the new Chrome there's a little tab with your name on it in the upper right window. This is called 'people' in the settings and lets you browse with mulitple users. I hate ever so much this new annoying little tab. I'm actually beginning to really resent google for taking a once streamlined small browser and cramming all this useless unasked for crap.

I have no idea how to disable it yet, any thoughts?

It's easy to disable:

1. go to
chrome://flags

2. find "enable new profile management system" and change the drop-down menu to "disable"

3. restart chrome

I think switching users on the fly like that is pretty handy and useful. I wouldn't call that useless crap that no one wanted.

Fine, that might be true, but why do I have to go under the hood every version of Chrome I have to disable this? Why cant I have this in the settings that synchs to all devices?
