Maybe in Windows it's a click OK type of thing. The Apple part that gmg's is how I have to slide one JPEG in a very specific way over another JPEG. It's a cumbersome, unnecessary motion that slows me down and is par for the course with Apple in my experience versus the simpler methods of doing things on PC.

You're talking about only one way to install apps on a Mac. Today, most apps are installed via the App Store, like most other platforms.
A single app file in a dmg file did include that
super tedious "drag to applications" installation step, as an alternative to the old windows setup wizards. The comparison you should be making is "drag to application folder" vs. "click through a setup wizard".
I'm condescending because the OP simply asked what size of drive he should go for, not for your opinion on the product he's already chosen to buy.
