I don't know if it's been confirmed but pretty sure it was from a shot block in the Dallas game on the 19th. Was in attendance, looking like it caught him between the elbow pad and glove and he skated off favouring it.

This would be so unfortunate for both team and player. Jooris was such a feel good story I'd feel awful if you're right and this turns out to be quite serious.

It was apparently updated after I posted that. Looks like that plane got sent back to wait.

Now it's showing leaving 3hrs late (take off at 9pm EST) and will be coming in tonight around midnight.

It also looks like the only flight that made it out of Chicago to Calgary today after 3 cancellations, so I hope Ortio got on it.

Yea, Ortio has definitely improved his numbers since October. His current GAA and SV% aren't a good reflection on his play because of how poor the October ones were:

October: 3-3-1 with a 4.16 GAA and .879 SV%
November: 6-1-0 with a 2.22 GAA and .924 SV% and 1 SO
December: 7-3-0 with a 1.70 GAA, .940 SV% and 2 SO
January: 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .925 SV% (keep in mind, this is a MUCH smaller sample size, he's only played twice)

He was lights out in December can't wait to see what he can do!

He's an AHL guy. They do 3 games in 3 nights riding the bus to the next destination immediately following the game.

He's used to long travel and all that, he should be okay.
