cool... from a guy who doesn't follow the CHL/WHL at all:

is brandon a place where he will be looked at as a key offensive contributor?
Is there strong offensive linemates for him there?
is brandon a threat to go far this year?

Thx in advance.

Brandon is the highest scoring team in the league,he will be looked as an offensive player but also used in shut down situations. Brandon looks to be gearing up for a serious run here imo.

The Wheat Kings are the juggernaut of the East, and one of few teams that I think could keep up with Kelowna. As Sureloss noted, this move will be a response to the Rockets' grabbing Draisaitl and Morrissey.

Brandon is easily the WHL's best offensive team - 176 goals in 39 games. The next three are Kelowna (164), Medicine Hat (151) and Calgary (148). Most other teams are below 120. So Klimchuck will be playing with some pretty good linemates.

I'm sure there are many, many connections, but the Pats just beat the Wheat Kings twice in the past couple weeks and Klimchuk played awesome. (From what I heard). So I guess if you can't beat 'em, get him!!

From what I've heard around here Klimchuk played excellent against Brandon those last few games, you have an offensive team like Brandon you need someone took shut them down, Klimchuk did just that. He is excellent in the shut down roll but also decent offensively, going to Brandon we should see his point total go up quite a bit imo.

Just gave me chills.

Kelly McCrimmon is Brad's brother, for those who don't know (like myself 30 seconds ago).

I think he's saying Oilers use Pats' colours.
Interwebs calls Pats' colours red, white and blue

To me this looks like the better fit for Klimchuk. I think he's going to explode in Brandon production wise.

sureloss got me all excited that Klimchuk was going to the Tigers only to bring the reality hammer down. Oh well.
