Compared to the crap they've been churning out for these games and the completely overdone retro fad these kings jerseys are a breathe of fresh air. I applaud them for doing something different and the design is actually pretty tight.

Also still can't get over how a team in LA named the Kings has one of the worst logo sets in the league.
So many things you can do, and they choose a mis-figured and period offensive font, a recycled crown far too busy to be 1/4 logo height on a basic geometric shield. Super.

The Kings did well last year with their stadium series jersey. Not so much this year, that said, if I was a Kings fan, I would still buy one to round out the collection.
The Sharks design looks a bit similar to the Kings as well...coincidence?

Kings should always be purple and gold.
Black and white is no good.

Meh, they're dumb but who cares. It's one game and an attempt to make some additional revenue

I remember reading somewhere that the League keeps some percentage of revenues from jersey sales? I'm not sure if I'm remembering that correctly.

I think jersey sale revenue is equally distributed across all 30 teams

So in the end its really very little additional revenue, but every bit helps.
