At least the Flames won't have being in the playoffs as a excuse for not trading Glencross.

Honestly it doesn't seem that this team is a playoff team.

As pathetic as it sounds losing might be right thing to do.

To be around 16th and 25th would be a terrible failure

Regardless, I will never cheer for the flames to lose. I'll be along for the ride and hope we make it.

I agree, the Flames should trade Glencross (if he is willing to waive) but he is playing fine and has not been nearly as bad as some of made him out to be.

Not getting the lucky bounces we were earlier in the year.

We are not as bad as we have been over the past 6 games, but we were not nearly as good as we appeared to start the year.

Bring up Gillies and Kanzig for the game as well! Just trek the NHL that is an emergency and we need Kanzig to right the ship, with his fists!

Might be time to make a few changes to the lineup to inject some energy. The Flames had some very good spurts and then the Rangers would get one chance and pop it in the net.

The team is snake bitten in a lot of ways, but they are way to casual in their own end right now.

Kanzig has one, but would need to be recalled on an emergency basis because of his age. (Like Baertschi was)

Or perhaps the luck has run out and our lack of skill ( finishing ) is maybe coming through? Don't get me wrong we are a young team and we will have these bumps in the road but maybe, probably it's going to take a couple years for our young guys to develope that.

I'm. It worried. We are progressing in year 2 a lot better than most anticipated.

With all the guys coming off injury they need to rekindle some of that chemistry they had before they were injured maybe.

Can people start actually using the Ignore list please? So sick of GT, and PGT be derailed by those who can't ignore troll posts. It's been going on for years. A poster bugs you with his/her style -> ignore. Not call them out everytime they post. So annoying.

It's hard not to be a little disappointed after the elation we all had for the start of the season but really this is not unexpected. Six in a row makes it worse but had the losses come sprinkled among the wins we'd likely not even be talking about it.

There is a lot of learning going on right now. We were punching above our weight and as was mentioned during the game, we can look at this as more of a "correction".

It's sure not the pace or the fun factor we were getting used to though. That would make the losses a lot more bearable.

On the upside, Johnny and Hudler are still fun to watch together!

I hope Treliving is active in the trade market in the new year. We have a lot of mediocre forward talent of all ages.

Good point. It's the sudden fall that makes it hard to take.

Ramo did not play good enough. Too many team wide mistakes in the defensive zone and not finishing scoring chances buried the Flames.

I hope he is working on our D for this year/next year.

If the Flames go on a run and make the playoff this year, that's fine.

However, we need more work on D more then forward, imo.
