Adam has been a great AHL player, but hasn't been able to put it together at the NHL level. D'Amigo is kind of meh though.

yes, but to be fair he was just coming off a 10g 10a in 52 games rookie season

I remember some people wanting Luke Adam as return for when we traded Regehr to Buffalo. Some people were pretty upset over it.

IIRC Adam scored nearly all of the points in his 10+10 rookie season while centering Vanek and Pominville. Not too hard to put those kind of numbers on the board with two wingers like that.

I remember that. That and the fact that the Flames gave up a 2nd to dump Kotalik made some interesting discussions after.

I wonder if D'Amigo coming in has anything to do with a Stewart deal on the horizon, or if it's just an AHL deal. They are both RW, I believe.

That he got to play on that line pretty much shows how highly regarded he was as a prospect back then. He turned out to be a giant bust I guess. Sucks for him.
