A lot of Chicago drafted forwards - the rich get richer. Team USA that is.

Any notable Flames prospects left off either the Canada or US roster?

Mason McDonald maybe? Not sure if he's good enough that they even considered him.

no one that really deserves to be there
This is Kanzig's and Smith's last year to be eligible for this tournament and it would be hard to argue they deserve to be on that list over anyone.
Bennett (injured for this year's and may be in the NHL next year), McDonald, and Hickey will still be eligible next year
Rafikov has made the Russian preliminary roster.
Ollas-Mattsson didn't play for Sweden in their summer camp. Could be on their roster next year
Everyone else is too old for this tournament.

Those Ingrowns from Edmonton must be first cousins of the Inbreds - also from Edmonton!

Likely related to the Ingrates from Edmonton who have won cups many years ago.

per Larry Brooks, the Rangers have loaned Anthony Duclair to Hockey Canada.
bad news in terms of Klimchuk making the team. Duclair is a LW playing in the NHL, a lock to make it.

This might be the last chance for Darnell Nurse to shine on a big stage before Edmonton destroys his career

I have never seen what others have in Bigras and Gauthier. Both of them are returnees that will likely make the team simply based on the fact that they are returnees. They have been among Canadas least noticeable (or more noticeable in a bad way in Gauthiers case) players in recent years.

isn't Gauthier a leaf prospect? Pretty sure that's why he's there.
