The inherent problem with winning corsi is that it doesn't give you a chance to get your defense collected. Too many sequences where they look like headless chickens. .

Considering the Flames were expected to have about 25 points at this point or possibly less, can we cut it out with the debbie downer talk please. This is the first 2+ game losing streak of the year and we're half way through December.

Not the worst game I've seen. The Flames have dominated for large portions of this game, and they've had a ton of scoring chances. The only reason they're losing is because of a few boneheaded defensive mistakes in their own zone, leaving Ramo hanging out to dry. The Sabres aren't beating the Flames. The Flames are beating themselves.

a lot of his game's strengths has to do with forwards who can cover for him defensively. Especially since a lot of the energetic, conditioned young-guns are back in addy, his game has a bit of a spotlight on it.
