Not true. He was a healthy scratch for unsatisfactory play.

I was never overly critical of Bouwmeester, he is what he is unfortunately.

An above average defender who skates exceptionally well but got a huge pay raise as we essentially signed him as a UFA (and also had some bloated offensive stats in Florida). Bouwmeester at the $5.4M he's making now is pretty excellent value I'd say. That being said, I agree his perceived emotional investment (or lack there of) would stick out on the Flames now.

And people that talk bad about Iginla's time in Calgary are bad fans and bad people as far as I'm concerned.

What do you mean? I think all of us would agree that Bouwmeester's time in Calgary was an absolute disaster. The disagreement amongst us comes from whether he sucks or was handcuffed. I think he was not allowed to skate and play his game. We saw an immediate difference in the 20 games he played for Hartley but by then it was too late, he had to be traded for value.

Iginla's the greatest player to ever play for the Flames.

Where are you getting that from?

Larmer held out and wouldn't sign with the Blackhawks.

Then he was traded twice in the same day. First to the Whalers, then the Rangers.
