Watching the non-Sportsnet feeds it's a lot of fun to listen to the other broadcasters talk about Johnny Hockey. They LOVE using his nickname.

Tell 60 and 86 to get apartments.

I'm awfully glad we woke up when we did. If it was like two nights ago playing rope a dope it would be over.

Monahan adding a bit of dangling to his game is downright dangerous.

I almost hate to make this comparison, but this year's Flames team is reminding me a bit of the 2010-2012 Canucks. Just in that they remain so damn composed after going down by 2 goals and their ability to tie it back up.
It doesn't seem that panic ever really enters their game, they stick to their system, up the pressure a bit and good things happen.
Man I love this team.

Hjalmarsson, puck in the face. Karma?

Was that Monahan who drew the penalty on Toews? (player he idolizes his game against)?

Monahan doesn't look out of place going head to head with Toews this period.

The Calgary Flames are never late, they wake exactly when they mean to.

The Flames remind me of the old Popeye cartoons. They're getting pushed around and then suddenly they eat a can of spinach and kick butt.

Great comeback by the Flames in that period. Dare I say it, Calgary's PP looks just as dangerous as anything the Hawks can throw out there. Love it.

I washed my Dad's car once with a sponge I dropped on the ground. I meant well, but I left deep swirl marks all over the car from the stones it picked up.
You mean well, but I still don't like you.
