The Flames need to get plenty of pucks on net, especially in the early going. Anaheim's goaltending has been shaky at best as of late.

Our first true test. I hope Hartley and Gio have found all the negative press about us, have pinned it to the dressing room wall and told the group to go out there and prove the doubters wrong. We'll need everyone to put in a shift, make as few mistakes as possible and for Hiller to have a really good game, but I'm confident we can hang with them tonight. I might be wrong but I get the feeling that their defence isn't exactly blessed with speed. Hopefully our 3rd line and the 2 wingers on the 2nd line can take advantage of this and cause them no end of problems.
Come on Flames, lets do this!

This is definitely a big game, but I've certainly got my eyes set forward to the game in Anaheim. For me, that's the game that if we win, I'm going to drop my doubt and enjoy the ride to the playoffs.
That said, I still hope we destroy them 15-0 and Hiller doesn't even face a shot. Boo ducks.
EDIT: Also I want to see a camera shot of Kesler looking sad.

If the Flames try to beat Anaheim at the Ducks game, we will lose... badly. This team is not a punishing, wear you down kind of team. Hartley has to keep the troops focused on what has made them successful so far this season... speed, quick hands and skill. I like that we have some enforcers in the lineup though in case any Ducks try to take a run at any of our young guys.
If we can keep to our game, flames will further open some eyes tonight. Hiller has a strong game too. Flames win... 4-2 (with an empty netter).

I used to say that I rooted for the Flames because the city seems happier when they win. I'm now saying I'm rooting for the Flames because they have become a favourite. And it's not just the team and the way they play - it's you posters too. The Bruins boards are brutal to try and read. Love the attitude here and hope it never changes.
Looking forward to the game tonight - go Flames!

Exactly. The critics will be licking their chops at this one, expecting the Flames to be 'put in their place' finally. So this is where they can really make a statement about where they really stand.
Need Johnny and Sven at the top of their games tonight, generating offence.
Need Hiller to give the game of his season to this point (well outside of Chicago, hard to duplicate that effort)
Need Gio and Brodie to be hungry
Need the team as a whole to commit in the defensive zone
Let's do this. 5-2 Flames. Eat it, doubters.

Predicting 3-2 Flames.
Last time Ducks came in here they won 3-2 after beating Florida 6-2 the game before. Since they just lost to Florida 6-2...

Hiller stands on his head, has the book on every duck player and wants to make them his bitches.
3-0 Flames and on the 25th, we finally break the curse and win at the Pond in Anaheim. Statue of Hiller is commissioned by CP faithful.

An angry Ducks squad is what I want to see. If we're for real, this will be a game.

Well, we've played the league-leading Canadiens twice, second-place Lightning twice, and sixth-place Nashville twice. We're 4-1-1 in those six games.
But, we got badly outshot against the 14th place Hawks (but won) and pretty soundly thumped by the 5th place Blues in the first week of the season, so, you know, we haven't really played any tough teams and have looked bad against them when we have.
Short memories.
