Hathaway and Arnold are such studs on the PK.

The Moon/Hanowski/Wolf line is pretty interesting. They have been busy early.

Anyone think Hathaway can be our new Brett Olson in terms of an undrafted player coming out of nowhere and contributing in a big way? Because I do.

The guy has a non-stop motor, similar to Jooris, and quite often draws penalties because of it.

Yea, he's going to be a big part of our AHL team. I'm not sure if he will make the jump to the NHL, but I could see him being the captain of our AHL team for a few years and a big part of that development for our kids.

Not a knock on Hathaway. It's an underrated job.

It seems like Spoon is always on the ice. He just eats up minutes and continually makes smart plays. Can't wait till he's on the big team so he can make the third pairing look somewhat decent.

"Gillies with a good defensive play to start the offense".

Time to repent boys, the end is near.

On the contrary my friend. This is just the beginning of a 70 point AHL season for Trevor Gillies.

Looks like Knight got credit for the goal.

It looked like Knight poked it. Wolf brought it in and did most of the work.

Yeah, that was Knight just shoveling and mucking it up in front of the net. I wouldn't be happy if I were Pickard. It looked like Knight pushed the puck in with the goalie.

It'll count anyways I think.

Pickard still jawing at the official. He's really not pleased about that goal.

I'm really impressed with Lake Erie's broadcast. Very professional and comes off more like an NHL broadcast. Plus, the Monster's PBP guy actually says the Flames player's names unlike the Rochester guy.

Bonus points for having a ticker on the broadcast so you actually know the score and time.
