You keep throwing this money factor in like it actually matters.

Of all the reasons why it can be said it was wrong for him to fight, potentially jeopardising his career earnings is easily the most stupid.

Suppose you think Sam Bennetts fight last year was dumb too?

Crosby was drafted 2 months before his 18th birthday, McDavid will be 18 and a 1/2 when he's drafted. People just don't get the fact the talents like Crosby are extremely rare. It's not just goals/assists/points, it's also about leadership for his teammates and being a great person in the community.

Again, I'm not pissing on McDavid but I will eat pubes if he's anything like Crosby

Easy to criticize him for chucking the Knicks....but he is a 17 yr old who likely gets mugged on a nightly basis. He has likely run out of cheeks and other body parts to turn......

While I agree that he won't be Crosby, I think he'll be a very close second.

Better than Toews, Stamkos, Tavares, Ovechkin, Malkin, etc.

He's THAT good.

McDavid being out will be a good test for Strome. See how he does with all of the other teams defence being focused on him.
