“@DarrenWHaynes: Calgary's 6th road win last season came on December 7.”

It was a joke. A joke about the Oilers. As all jokes are.

Monahan didn't do much all game but he's usually clutch when he has a scoring chance from that range.
Jooris with great speed and enthusiasm all game.
Hiller was off his game today but came through when you needed. Though I think they should give the next game to Ramo.
Giordano and Brodie continue to be the best pairing in the NHL this season.

Sven will be the first one to be sent down to the AHL once the Flames get a healthy body back. A non-factor.
The Flames need to find a way to move Wideman to the 3rd pairing. He's just too slow to be playing more than 20 minutes a game. Was terrible in his own zone. Maybe bring up Wotherspoon and put him with Russell. Slide Wideman to the 3rd pairing with Smid/Engelland.

What a gutsy effort by the Flames. In a span of about 5 minutes, Hiller bags the first point, and Mony and Jooris bag the second point. Wasn't sure the Flames would be able to keep the no-quit, hard working demeanor going from last year but it looks like they've picked off right where they left off.

Yep alright, hate was much stronger than I had intended. My bad.

I was just trying to address the criticism he has received in this GT and others in the past this season. I'd defend his play further but MMF already summed it up nicely earlier in this thread.

Wow, I thought we wouldn't see our 8th win until around Christmas!
Don't know how long this will last but this is the best that I've felt as a Flames fan in years.

Fellas, this is driving Oliers fans nuts. One of my best pals is an Oilers die-hard. He told me yesterday that is killing him to watch this. He admitted that he would trade their roster for our roster in a heartbeat. I told him I'd have to pass on that.
