I think Monahan hasn't adjusted to the muscle he's gained. Doesn't seem to have the explosiveness or precision he did last year. Maybe it's the sophmore thing. Who really knows

He wasn't so hot before we had injured centers either. He'll be fine, but I'm sure next year when Bennett's here, Monahan will get a ton of grief for playing sluggish.

Flames 4th line has been their best. Bouma and jooris especially. Wouldn't mind seeing those 2with Byron at some point.

My only gripe with monahan this year has been his face offs, but you could say that about the whole team. He's playing way tougher minutes and still looks solid.
