It's one thing to stick up for a team mate on a high hit,it's another to take a selfish penalty to get retribution for something that happened to you. Glencross is a hot head and often puts the team down when he reacts to being angry. Just another example again.
The guy got a shoulder at pace to the head... The refs missed a call, they both should have gone off at worst.
The unnecessary criticism this kid gets is unreal. He made a hit at the blue line, like he's been told to do, and an unfortunate bounce out of his control ends up in the back of the net.
No player on this team receives more hate.
I love Baertschi and hope he spends this rest of the year up here but that was a crap play by him.
Agreed, but shame the referees missed/ignored Ovechkin hitting him in the face. Glencross still needs to direct his anger in more positive directions, however.
I'm willing to give Glencross a pass - was tied up with another Cap and that idiot Ovechkin comes flying in with a headshot. Wideman clears the puck over the glass on the PK.
