Sigh not Ferland too

Dirty hit by Volchenkov. That looked like an elbow.

It's definitely a headshot, but it wasn't really high because Ferland was low.
Hard to say what that is.

Yet another instance where the disciplinarian has to make a call the refs missed..I was going to ask if there was 3 blind refs walking the concourse this year, guess they're on the ice instead.

Just get out of this period and re-group. Flames are gonna need to come out flying in the 3rd if they want a chance in this one. Preds are playing really well defensively and Rinne has been solid.

If Burrows gets 3, Volchenkov should get 3-4

I'm guessing Ferland is going for the mandatory checkup? Hopefully he's 100 percent in the third.

Glad that period is over. Curious to know how many times we failed trying to get the puck out of our zone that period. 40?

So what is the point of having McGratton or any goon on this or any team? Nashville clearly feels comfortable laying big hits and running around - and McGratton can't do crud about it. So instead we have him plugging up the 4th line, turning pucks over, and taking shifts that are WAY too long.
Tired of having goons on this team.

The idea that goons can protect other players is and always has been an illusion.
