Default Futureshop sale after purchasing item

I bought an item from futureshop yesterday for 600, but there's a sale today for 180$ off. Is there a way I can return the product and get it for the sale price or am I SOL

Check their return policy. I would think they would allow you to return and re-purchase at sale price.

They'll have a 30 day price adjustment policy for all products. Just go in and bring your receipt to get the difference adjusted.

They use to have a 30 day price protection program but I'm not sure if that is in place anymore.

Check your receipt or the website for their return policies.

I would say give them a call and ask them what their policy is.

As has already been mentioned, they have a 30 day price protection policy (just looked it up actually and it states "If you find a lower price online, in-store, or in print before you buy or within 30 days of your purchase we’ll beat that price by 10% of the difference.").

Some places don't though and for that you often can return and rebuy the item (depending on the return policy of course). I did this at Sport Chek once. They don't have a price protection policy but they do have a decent return policy so I returned the item for a full refund and bought it again. Saved me nearly $100.

Canadian Tire is weird like that. They have a 30 day price protection and a 90 day return policy. So if it goes on sale 35 days later they make you return it and then re-buy it.

Oddly, there's a lot of places like that.
