Default Who get's the next callup?

Looking like Stajan injury could be bad..
I would love to see Granlund or Ferland..

Granlund can play center so could take the 3rd/4th center role or maybe he jumps up a bit and Byron or Bouma take the 4th line center role?

If Colborne and Stajan are out I think Ferland and Granlund get the call

Sadly I think someone already on the roster will move to center and it will be Setoguchi inserted in the lineup.

Granlund and Ferland would be the logical people. But its likely that we'll see DS on the wing and Granlund depending on how bad Stajan's injury is.

They still need to do a callup to fill out the roster, no?

McGratton and Setoguchi are still on the roster, they'll probably move in with these two injuries. Bouma has played sporadically down the middle for Hartley last season, so maybe he'll end up there again for a stretch.

At this point I kinda want to see the Heat team left alone for a bit, let them string some wins together.

Still need to call someone up, assuming Stajan goes on IR. If both Colborne and Stajan are out there aren't 4 potential centres left

On the Flames website, Bouma, Hudler, Byron and Jooris are all listed as centres.

How ugly does that lineup look with Colborne, Raymond and Stajan out and McGrattan and Setoguchi in?

Glencross - Monahan - Hudler
Gaudreau - Backlund - Byron
Jones - Jooris - Setoguchi
Bollig - Bouma - McGrattan

Yikes.

Pretty ugly and illogical, callups will be made.

The issue with plunking someone in at centre is probably more defensive than faceoffs or offensive zone. Most wingers have taken a few draws and Hudler, JH, Byron are good playmakers. But defenzive zone coverage needs some getting used to.

I agree. McGrattan and Setoguchi should be #13/14 forwards with two AHL call ups getting regular minutes.

LW - C - RW
At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Hudler working the parking booth, he does everything else.

Keep Seto and McGrattan in the press box, call up Ferland and Granlund and you get

Glencross - Monahan - Hudler
Gaudreau - Backlund - Jones
Ferland - Granlund - Byron
Bollig - Bouma - Jooris

I like it.
