Also, how in the hell did they possibly manage making the game WORSE with an update? The CPU players are hyper-aggressive all of a sudden, and worst of all they never, ever miss with a hit. If it's a one-one in my favor the CPU defender makes a bee-line for me every single time, and he always delivers a big hit. I've had to essentially neuter their hitting power and aggressiveness, which hasn't done much given the insignificance of the sliders having any effect whatsoever.

Just when I thought I had the atrocious momentum controls and AI dealt with or compensated for they throw in some more ludicrous garbage that seems specifically designed to drive me to homicide.

I just put it on rookie difficulty and win every game 10-0 now. At least it's fun and not infuriating.

i was fine leaving it in all-star.....yeah my players get laid out, but with cuts and passes it's actually not too bad. punishes you appropriately if you have no support and you try to carry it into the zone. either dump or circle back

I honestly can't answer that question. Force of habit, maybe? Lack of an appropriate social life, perhaps? Insufficient entertainment outlets? Probably all three and more.

Not to mention I simply don't have the time to invest in some of the more complex, better made games on the market. I've had Assassins Creed 3 and Arkham City sitting on my shelf since they came out. Slipping in a game or two of hockey is far more convenient.

I think what confuses me is that I also feel like I don't have a lot of time to invest in a mindless escape such as video games (that's more the fault of time management, but that's a different discussion). For that reason when I do play games, I do it with something I enjoy. If I get 20 minutes into a game and it's not incredibly fun, I immediately have to assess if I'm going to keep going given that I have family, work, and everything else to balance. Tossing in Arkham City and playing a single level would probably take less time than an infuriating game of hockey.

I can't imagine doing anything that frustrates me to the degree some here are reporting for an hour, let alone what seems like weeks on end. I've heard the argument that some just have to play hockey. I just don't buy that being angry at a video game is better than not playing anything at all.

Yep, you don't even have to binge game in order to finish a game. I have a pretty big backlog and I find if I can fit in 30-60 minutes of gaming per day I can usually finish a game within a week or two. Within the last few weeks I've been able to finish Beyond: Two Souls and Killzone: Shadowfall.

I had the same type of experience with Crackdown that Yamer seems to be having with NHL 15. I've had it sitting in my backlog for years and finally decided to play it. I found it incredibly boring and just wasn't enjoying myself so I decided to stop and play games I actually enjoy playing. I've only gone through the first part of it and don't know if I'm ever going to bother finishing it.

I noticed a few games ago that my breakout menu was almost always showing and my poke check wasn't working. Turns out if you set your offence to anything beyond standard (ie. aggressive or all out attack), it completely breaks your poke check and stick lift. Rather brutal bug.

Don't see any sight of gaudreau in HUT as yet.

Any word on when the Be a GM october patch is scheduled for release... am holding off really getting into be a gm until the patch is out.
