I did the lvl 20 strike last night and it wasn't hard...

Jumped up to level 24 yesterday. Took some time but I hit crucible rank 2 and had enough marks to get two pieces of legendary crucible armor.

I'm in, need to finish the daily and weekly on level 28. What level are you at?

I've never not done one of the daily quests before, but yesterday's had me rage quit. Doing that mission on Venus in the Ishtar Collective server room where you get swarmed by those invisible #######s with the swords when there's a huge boost to enemy melee damage is just bull####. Got to the end where I just had to kill the final boss 4 times before being one shot by one of those pricks that snuck up on me from behind each time when I finally said screw it and decided my time was better spent elsewhere

Jump a lot, that's the only tip I can give you. You'll get hit less and see where they are.

Me? I got shards. Well that and the legendary sparrow. Which is actually badass in how excessively fast it can go, but a weapon would have been nice.

I'm jealous. I've yet to find a group that can handle the Lvl 30 Raid. I just don't know a lot of lvl 29-30s, we don't seem to have many in the clan so far.

Almost solo'd the Nightfall today until a couple buddies joined me right before the boss. Getting extra damage for all 3 elements almost isn't fair. I got the Mida Multi-Tool as a prize for beating it. I'm normally not a huge fan of Scout Rifles, but this thing is a beast. http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/MIDA_Multi-Tool

Disappointing that the Iron Banner is basically control in regular Crucible with no significant differences in killing time for anybody whether you're lv 12 or 27. Fortunate enough to have been on the winning side whenever I played but staying to the very end and coming back from a 2K point difference to win is always fun. Not when people are dropping out because they can't get rep for losing.

Also completed a normal Raid last night, one friend got the legendary rocket launcher, the exotic Hard Light and a solar primary. Earlier when we did the nightfall he also got the exotic warlock chest piece.. While he's a hunter.

Sometimes I just wanna curl up in the corner...

I have been at level 24 for 3 days now. Been doing strikes and bounties but nothing gets upgraded or or having any vanguards points even though i cashed in my bounties. I'm still sitting at 468 vanguard points for 3 days. What am i'm doing wrong?

So I leveled each class to level 4. I think I like the Titan the most - what does everyone else play? Is there one class that really shines in the later levels?

Went balls-to-the-wall in Iron Banner yesterday. Think I managed to do about 25-30 matches!

I really enjoy control and clash games. I was pretty awful when I started playing PvP. I was lucky to have K/D ratios greater than 0.40. Sometimes I would be under 0.1 lol. But after lots and lots of practice and rejigging of my strategy I'm probably closer to 0.8. And that's only because for about every 2-3 good games I have (above 1), I have an awful game.

I think I'm about ready to try a raid. Though from what I hear, I may need to work on my jump accuracy. Are there enough guys here on CP that can run raids, or should I look for a raid sherpa on Reddit? I'm on PS4.

Was just about to go to bed 2 hours ago when I went to the tower and got a random message asking if I wanted to do the raid on hard. I figured I may as well, I don't have anything important to do tomorrow. We ended up finding a guy who had a checkpoint on the boss, so we kind of pulled off a cheese kill on him and we beat it! One guy in our fireteam got the Mythoclast, I got the legendary Sparrow

Skirmish with friends is a lot more fun than the chaos that is control.
Edit: Also picked up the Voidfang Vestaments from Xur. Everything I spawn back in PvP, I have grenade energy. Combine that with 2x grenades as a sunsinger... Praise the sun.

I'm thinking of grabbing this game for x1; should I get the basic game or is it worth it to grab the guardian $30 more edition?

The extra $30 gets two expansion packs, vanguard armory, and some extra weaponry and stuff.

I like the download version, or should I get a physical copy with the maps and stuff?

I don't know where I will find the time to play, but having read this thread everyone seems to be having a blast with the game.

If you think you'll pick up the expansion packs eventually, then the digital guardian edition is the way to go. Saves you ten bucks overall.
