Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday
#Isles sign Joshua Ho-Sang to 3-year ELC. Also, returned Ho-Sang (Windsor) and Michael Dal Colle (Oshawa) to their junior clubs today.

Mark Spector @SportsnetSpec
Jets send Ehlers, Petan, Morrissey back to Jr. Those are three fine prospects. Jets system is stacked.

Not that it is a surprise.. but Draisaitl is sticking Edmonton... sent down Yakimov.
Nurse is also sticking... because why not rush everyone.

From what I've read, even from the overly optimistic Greaser fanbase, Draisaitl is nowhere near ready.
But Oilers gonna Oil.

I'm assuming that Ekblad is sticking? Any final word on Reinhart? I had read Buffalo fans don't see him as being any where near close to being ready and think he should be back in junior. Has Buffalo made a commitment one way or another?

Reinhart is such a tough case. After three full seasons in the WHL, he has absolutely nothing left to prove in junior hockey, but it also seems like the NHL is still too much for him at that point. AHL would be ideal for him and I'm sure the Sabres wish they could send him there. Probably going to get his 9 games and they'll take it from there, I guess.
Ekblad is going to stay for sure IMO. They have 8 defensemen in camp left, and that includes try-out Shane O'Brien ... no way they'll opt for O'Brien instead of Ekblad.

Not yet -- general feeling is that he'll make the team on opening night simply because junior isn't the best option. But I feel he'd have to play VERY well to stay beyond the nine games.

I heard O'Brian has been offered a contract. Could be a two way though.

Leafs have reassigned Nylander. Unclear if he was assigned to the AHL or Sweden
