Diaz gets a contract this weekend, which allows Potter and Wotherspoon to rehab and get back up to speed and fitness in Addy. Potter is first recall, then Wotherspoon.

Potter's two way contract doesn't really matter. He has to clear waivers regardless.

It only changes how much he makes in the AHL vs the NHL.

If Wotherspoon was healthy, I think this would have been his spot.
It seems likely that Diaz gets the spot... for now.

Can't make a choice here today. With Wotherspoon practicing with the full team today, I want to say Wotherspoon, because I still think Diaz isn't going to be signed, but I want to wait to see if Wotherspoon plays Saturday. If he doesn't, means they don't think he's game ready and they sign Diaz.

Also starting to think maybe they only keep 6 healthy D to start and have an extra forward.
