I don't wanna sound all Oiler or anything, but holy crap does the future look bright. We have a bunch of kids not just knocking at the door, but getting ready to kick it in!
Colborne, Gaudreau, Granlund, Reinhart, Bennett and Monahan have all been standouts this camp. Ferland, Baertschi and Agostino have looked damn good too. Arnold hasn't been bad either. Then you have the forgotten men of Jooris and Elson, and we haven't mentioned Hanowski or Knight. Wow! And then you still have Poirier, Klimchuk and Jankowski as first rounders in the pipe.
Unfreakin' real. I don't recall the Flames with prospect depth like this ever. This could be an ugly season, but the future is looking not bad if things continue to develop as they have the past couple of years!

Still miss Pete though.

Yeah I am pumped. Watching the pre-season, I have no idea between Sven, Gaudreau, Granlund, Reinhart, Ferland and Bennett are going to make the team out of camp. Leaning Gaudreau/Granlund, but they'll all been really good while a few of the vets (Jones/Seto) haven't been great, should be an interesting weekend and it makes me exciting to have this many young guys knocking on the door

Yep, I see a lot of games like this this coming season, out play the other team badly but come away with the loss. As far as the future being bright, hey I gotta wear shades! If that line doesn't win the lame post of the night I don't know what will? ��

The team still lacks a defensive core outside of Brodie and Gio, and long term, it's only Brodie.
Hanifin will be a nice addition.
