I'm really debating on whether or not I should put some money on this team. I'm not a gambler but I really believe the Flames will overshoot their over/under this year.

Why do you need hard practices to determine who should be on your team? Just order the lines by draft position.

So the jets are the bottom of the barrel? I thought that was the oilers.

I'm actually happy that we got Seto, I think he could turn it around and help this team. He won't be a huge point scorer but I think by the end of the year more people will want him back.

I'm nervous that Treliving isn't going to sign Hartley to an extension based purely on the fact that he's not "his guy". This isn't based on anything besides my own fear. Really like Hartley's perspective and style.

If the Flames improve in the standings this season I don't see Treliving interrupting that progress by bringing someone else in. Unless it's Babcock of course.. I'm a huge Hartley fan but I wonder if Babcock would be enticed by some of the talent were bringing in this year. Maybe he would be intrigued by the opportunity to help mentor a budding star in Gaudreau seeing his experience with coaching smaller skilled forwards. He's also already mentioned taking a great liking of some of our younger players including Backlund.

Just some thoughts...
