Are the practices open to the public (like the prospect camp)?

I know Poirier is out long term, what about Roy and Wotherspoon, how bad are their injuries?
Is there anyone else injured to start camp?

Wotherspoon was further ahead on the timberline than Poirier, and Treliving said Roy was nothing serious, but would be "a couple weeks"

Millions tweeted the other day that Poirier and Wotherspoon were skating with the veterans at Winsport.

That's the future. Save this photo.
Johnny doesn't even look that small. He is standing two feet in front of the others though.

Great photo lol. Kind of awkward, cause you know, triple mirror selfie.
Johnny definitely looks 5'9 there. Bennett and Ferland are both almost 6'1

Just wanted to mention that Yonkman's a completely serviceable AHL defender. This Addy defense is going to be young and will probably get walked over without some sort of veteran help. Yonkman can do that all while protecting players. He's carved out a nice long AHL career for himself and it hasn't been because he's been a plug either.

after watching some of the prospects camp, really seems like the D may be the achilles heel for the heat. Lot of young guys that are early in their pro games that have a bit of development needed to reallly be leaned on and succeed in a pro league like the ahl.
pretty sure guys like potter, yonkman are being called in as a means to help bring some veteran presence on that heat d.

Yup, having Corey Potter and Nolan Yonkman down there will help add veteran leadership on the blueline and stabilize the core.
Yonkman is 6'6, 247 lbs.
