I shook Bennett's hand in the bar and fanboy'd so hard. What is wrong with me?

Nothing. If anything you've just probably made him appreciate the Calgarian fans a bit more.

Is Bennett even allowed in the bar? He must've forgot he's in BC. Bad ass.

Great goal by Johnny but he was making some poor passes in the offensive zone. First game though for everyone. I liked Ferland, Kanzig, Granlund, Ramage, Klimchuck and Bennett as well. Agostino worked hard.

Those poor passes were mostly because Smith was way out of position or incredibly slow a lot of the time. Johnny would be forced to pass to nowhere because Smith had stopped the play completely.

If Granlund isn't on the opening day roster it would be disappointing. In Treliving's interview during the 2nd intermission he mentions Granlund as a guy not many talk about, but they should.

Folks who listened on radio: feedback about the Wills/Loubo tandem? [Constructive feedback!]
I liked them. They're obviously still figuring each other out as far as on-air chemistry, but I liked Wills calling a straight-forward game.

Is there any way to stream the entire game online or is anyone doing a broadcast/rebroadcast of it?

I liked Wills - he was very crisp, painted the picture well and was not repetitive.
I'm a big fan of Loubo already and I think they will make a good pair.

How big is Ferland now? He looked huge.

I was only listening for about 15 minutes during an errand and thought he was real good. Thought he could have had more enthusiasm for the Gaudreau goal, but I think he'll quickly learn.
Loubardias was great once again. This man would marry hockey if he legally could. He eats, sleeps, breathes hockey and you can tell with how much he knows about all these young guys that he is extremely knowledgeable.

I downloaded the Calgary Flames app on my iPad and within the app is a news tab. On that tab I can click the game and it gives me an option to open in a browser. Once there I can watch the game front to back, rewind fast forward etc. The quality isn't great for me but I can still watch it all.

Honorable mention to Magee, I knew nothing about him, but for a tryout he did everything he was supposed to. Noticable in the right ways, coaches gave him a lot of looks, PK included. I doubt we have room for a smaller statured kid.......but I wanted to give him props....

Granlund and Gaudreau are nhl ready, I haven't a doubt. Head and shoulders above the pack in their own ways, Gaudreau with planet destroying skills and granlund with smarts and a very well rounded game.
Ferland is very close.
Everyone else is the better part of a season away at least based on the small sample. Didn't pay much attention to Klimchuk though, hope to gauge a better perspective tomorrow.
Not going to make judgements on defenders until the end of the tourney and further into camp, it's easier to shake off the rust as a forward. They should be given a larger sample size.

Can't make any judgements really. These players all come from different systems with different bad/good habits and don't know where the other guy is going to be.
That's got to make it hard to stand out
