We spent a week at the Flames development camp watching the prospects practice and scrimmage. We’ll let you know who looked good, what we thought of Johnny Gaudreau and Sam Bennett, and which of the walk-on players we think should get a contract. Plus, we interviewed some of the prospects to get their thoughts and opinions on the camp and their development.

There should be. We've had other listeners who have subscribed via pocketcast for Android. Let me double check some things on our back end to ensure nothing has broken over the summer, and get back to you.

If I had to make a comment I'd say the second dude says 'y'know' a bit too often y'know?
Other than that I thought it was highly informative and pleasant to listen to.

Thank you for pointing this out. Unfortunately, sometimes the mouth is a little ahead of the mind, and y'know what gets said.

I am working on correcting it now that it's been brought to my attention. Just thought you'd like to know.

It'll probably be in the next few shows as I know I'll slip from time to time, but I am working on it.

If I could offer another suggestion I think you guys should try to have 3 people on each show. You guys had one show earlier in the year with the developer of the flames website or something that I thought was one of your better ones.

I find that with a two person show if one of you makes a joke and only the other person laughs, sometimes as a courtesy so the other person isn't left with dead air, it just sounds a bit hollow. If you have two people laughing then the discourse starts to feel a lot more natural. Maybe I'm wrong about that or maybe it would be too tough to find a third person for each show but I think it would make the show a bit better.

I'm looking forward to some new episodes though!

Thanks for this comment. I agree with a lot of that feedback.

If you go back and listen to the first season, we actually had 3 hosts on the show for the first 30 shows approximately. 3 people takes a lot more effort to keep everyone organized and on topic, as well as figuring out who should talk on what subjects, etc. A third voice also adds about 1-2 hours of additional editing.

I would like to explore a third voice on the show again, but having that third voice a guest host each time. The hard part is finding interesting and unique guests each week. I'd ideally like to have a different third voice each week, from a rotating list of guests - such as a regular Glens Falls correspondent, a former NHLer, etc. It's something I want to experiment with again this year, we just need to find the right guests.
