How is that not a #1 centre?

Does Krejci make those around him better?
He has had the privilege of playing with Lucic and Horton/Iginla almost exclusively for the last 4 seasons.
He also has the luxury of not being asked to go up against the other team best lines as Bergeron gets that call.
This last season Krejci had 69 pts in 80 games 50 at even strength
Linemates:
JAROMEIGINLA 87.8%
MILANLUCIC 86.9
Backlund had 39 pts in 76 games last year. 28 at even strength
His top linemates were
JIRIHUDLER 38.2 %
MICHAELCAMMALLERI 36.2 %
LEESTEMPNIAK 24.0 %
PAULBYRON 23.8 %
Backlund has had not one shift where his linemates would physically dominate the opposition ... never mind to the extent that Lucic does on a regular basis PLUS Iginla and Horton.
Maybe Krejci is able to carry a line but he hasn't shown that. If you could drop him between Cammalleri and Stempniak and he put up the same numbers then he would be worth more than the 42M.
