I see the Rams trading for Mark Sanchez. Flawed as he is he did QB a great Jets defense to back to back AFC title ganes. NFC is much more difficult but he knows the Rams offense (same OC as his when he was with the Jets) and he certainly is at least as good as Shaun Hill.
Philly only makes that trade if St Louis blows their socks off with a crazy offer and that makes zero sense. Philly needs a backup and Barkley is not it. It would be cost prohibitive for the Rams to do it, why trade what would have to be good assets to get a stopgap that only makes you a .500 team in a tough division? They're far more likely to ride out the season with Hill or another retread from the FA heap and draft another franchise guy top 10 after the year you'd think.
That's a tough loss for the Rams. They could have the top defence in the NFL this year. They just need a serviceable offense that doesn't turn the ball over. Chiefs should trade them Alex Smith.

Bucs and Patriots make a surprise deal, Bucs get desperately needed O-Line help in Logan Mankins, the Pats get TE Tim Wright and a 4th round pick. As a Buc fan this is a worrisome trade of course, New England is not stupid so if they're trading Mankins they must know something. Wright though, really liked him last year, I think he can be an upper echelon pass catching tight end, him and Gronk could be deadly.

Almost as deadly as the last one.

I've heard the Pats wanted cap room and that was the primary motivation for this. Richard Seymour, Wes Welker -the Pats are not afraid to move a player, even if the player is very productive, if they believe the salary doesn't fit within their structure.

Josh Gordon's suspension has been upheld, he will be eligible for reinstatement one year from today. Is there any doubt he's gonna be high for all or most of his year off? Incredibly talented but clearly doesn't get it.

One thing I read about this was this is all going to be done under the Personal Conduct portion, and that wasn't collectively bargained.
So if the Players association wants to, they could open an anti-trust lawsuit with regards to it.
I can't see anyone wanting to appear to be pro-domestic abuse, but there is an opening there.
And it isn't a true lifetime ban. The person can apply for reinstatement after one year. And another thing is this doesn't just cover players - this covers coaches, managers, staff and owners too.

I was thinking about this yesterday, but the PA would have to be mind-numblingly stupid to go to the mattresses over this.
